We had a lovely time on the tour, our tour guide Bernie absolutely made the trip for us. He was so knowledgable, letting us know various bits of information about Melbourne on the drive to Yarra Valley. He was so friendly and everyone on the tour loved him - thank you Bernie for making the experience so good for us all!

It was an absolutely excellent day. So much fun, great guide, great reps at the wineries, nice amount of people on the tour intimate and got to talk to everyone. Will definitely be going again, will pretend to be a tourist myself if I can't find a friend to take. Thanks Rick.
Yarra Valley Wino Fest

Rick and his team were spectacular! Between jet lag and a scheduling error I showed up to the tour a day early. Once my error was realized, Rick graciously allowed me to on the tour. It was very generous and only showed the compassion and kindness from the owner of the company. This was palpable throughout the excursion as Rick seemingly had a great relationship with all of the vineyards. Each stop had either had pristine facilities, well curated wine options, or social media worthy views. The second stop was my favorite as they took the time to curate each wine and provided a tasty lunch. Opt into the gin tasting, you won’t regret it (just be sure to hydrate plenty, depending on your options it may be 4 shots). The ride was comfortable and I had the opportunity to meet fellow travelers from all over the world. Bonus: there were ZERO children on this tour. Yarra valley is truly a gem and a must if you are visiting Melbourne. Great excursion for solo travelers, by the end of the tour we were all booze buddies.
Honorable mention: the chocolate factory was a bit overwhelming because of the high concentration of people. However, it’s at the end of the tour and you’ve had enough wine for nothing else to really matter (gin too). Cheers!!!

Overall great...but

Rick's Tour overall is great, except the experience at the Rochford Estate. We were rushed through with our wine tasting and lunch, in which we missed coffee/dessert and didn't get a chance to do the Gin Tasting or any gift shopping. My wife's lunch had a hair in it and when we told the staff, they just looked blanky back. The rest of the Wineries were great and Rick is an awesome tour guide.
Not good value for the experience

This is a large tour; due to the size Rick often was rushing the group through experiences. Though the tour may be titled “..wine and gin” and indicate a chocolate tour, the gin tasting is an extra cost and its just a stop a chocolatier. Felt very impersonal. Not good value.
