Everything was wonderful, from the initial welcome at the reception to the barmen and drinks!! A great experience, really worthwhile.

The whole experience was excellent, the cocktails were extremely strong and went down very nicely and the ice bar made it even more fun, highly recommend this experience, will do anytime I'm in Melbourne.
Something different and totally enjoyable

Unique . Noice and a little bit unusual, lovely extremely strong cocktail in a frozen wonderland , cosy cloak and gloves provided
Chilly expereince

The Ice Bar was a wonderful experience but I felt it was more for the young or young at heart. The poncho helped keep some of the cold away but kept slipping on me and getting in my way. The gloves provided were not enough to keep out the cold so I suggest you make sure you have your own. We had a LOT of layers on underneath the poncho which kept my body warm but my feet, hands and face got cold. The cocktail was nice. I was a bit disappointed in the fact that the camera's were not set up for all the photo opportunity points (we couldn't get any photos in the big ice chair). Also I thought that the whole bar and everything in it would be made of ice, but it wasn't.
Tourist attraction you won't be able to share

You enter a bar that all decorations table and chairs are carved out of Ice. Enjoy a drink and play a couple games, its a one hour experience to enjoy and if you looking for something a little different its not a bad way to kill sometime and add an experience to the list.

The staff were wonderful and friendly. The cocktails tasty and definitely a novel experience.

I had 2 issues with the experience. One you are not allowed to take your own photos on your phone. In a world where everything is done for the Gram this is silly to me, it limits the companies exposure and it limits your options as a guest. Two is the reason they don't let you use your phone, there are camera's set up thoughout the venue that you then can purchase pictures afterwards. This is where they lost the experience for me. at 12AUD a photo a picture is more expensive than a drink down the road or even a ready roast chicken at the grocery store. Not to mention this is merely for them to email you the photo. Not to have it printed, or framed, or placed in someform of memorabilia. To add insult to injusry it is 12 AUD per photo, it cost them nothing to produce, so why not just give you all photo's from your whole hour for 12AUD. Honestly this left such a sour taste in my mouth. We had taken about 4 photos inside and we then chose our one and left.
