We had a great day exploring the city by bike! It was a perfect mix of history and riding. It was nice that they supplied sunscreen and the lunch spot was fantastic!

Freddie our guide was so great and so funny. One lady got a flat tire and he immediately made her feel ok about it and changed her tire and we were off again. The trail was easy and very informative. We stopped for a bite to eat and it was delicious. I definitely recommend this to get acquainted with the city.
Great way to see Melbourne, without all that walking!

My family, including two teens, really enjoyed this experience as led by our knowledgeable tour guide, Freddie. In short, you bike to different points of interest where some historical or cultural information will be provided. The biking is not strenuous and is actually quite easy.

What to bring: We brought our camera (smartphone), credit card, Sun glasses, and water bottle in a hiking day pack. Helmets and bikes are provided.

The bikes and biking: Are of good quality. You will have to know how to ride a bike, but if it’s been a few years, they have you take a test spin through an uncrowded park first. You will need to bike down streets, cross streets, bike through crowds, go up and down some gentle-ish slopes, take some sharp turns, and navigate some narrow areas. This all sounds much scarier than it is, and was easily managed if you just listen to the tour guide.

Bathrooms: The is a locked bathroom near their shop that you can get a key from them, or at the restaurant stop.

Restaurant: Food is very good, but I’d consider it a light meal unless you get multiple items. I’d definitely eat breakfast before coming.

Overall: We really enjoyed the experience and I’d recommend it as a great was to see Melbourne and hear some of the interesting stories around points of interest.

Smarten up your lunch venue

Knowledgeable and accomodating guide. Lots of fun, interesting, and great way to map a city out.

Find a better lunch venue Nkd for Satan is not the place to go. Food is average and there floor to ceiling wall paper of nkd pics of woman, I thought we had moved on from this. Nkd for Satan needs to take down the pics or post up half the wall in pics of men’s private parts and be more relevant to the naked Russian male who made the vodka. But don’t take tourists there, it’s not a good look for Melbourne.
Unnecessarily long

We did a 4h bike tour with plenty of things to see around Melbourne. Matt was our tour guide who shared a good piece of history with us, had to deal with the flat tire and still kept the decent mood. However, I feel like the pace of the tour is more suited for the older gen. In my opinion it could be easily crammed in 2.5h with no lunch(which took one hour). Perhaps I could have done more in my own time by just renting a bike, but on the other hand we did hear some interesting stuff I would not have discovered myself. It is on you to decide weather that is worth 80$. Given that I have already forgotten 50% of it (did the tour 2 days ago), and felt like I have wasted a lot of time, I would recommend renting a bike and saving 50$. Although it might have to do with the insurance, the value for money of the bike tour is definitely overestimated.
